P.S. Come anche il corrispettivo progetto del modello di attrezzatura di rete concorrente (che sembra essere uscito fuori dal produttore fisico reale del fratello minore DWR-932 D1).

acquistato usato e messo subito al lavoro al posto del precedente Netgear 4G che faceva il suo onestissimo lavoro e aveva in più le prese per antenna esterna
purtroppo Vodafone non prevede per ora SIM dati in 5G (almeno così mi hanno detto) e non ho apparecchi in wifi 6 ma finora niente da eccepire sia sulla qualità della connessione (anche con più device in contemporanea) o della durata batteria
in pochi mesi già due aggiornamenti firmware installati
per ora lo uso al lavoro ma questa estate lo collauderò in vacanza in zone extraurbane
off topic.........da pochi mesi uso un Oneplus 8T 5G e con mia grande sorpresa vedo sempre più zone in città dove il telefono si collega in 5G ma se dovessi dire che vedo sta grande differenza nella velocità del traffico dati, onestamente no
anche a voi sembra un 5G per ora monco e quasi sperimentale ?

Grazie dei resoconti sempre preziosi.

Usando una similitudine, come un sistema stradale con corsie più capienti e strade più comode per poter andare più veloci. Ma se il sistema non è completo non andrà certo a pieno regime. Per la fine dei lavori di copertura nazionale sembra che manchino ancora altri 4 anni.

Però ci arrischiamo ad azzardare una proiezione su resoconti e tecnologie già operative: con il 4G+ attuale negli orari di punta non si raggiunge mai la velocità massima che anzi scala a circa ⅓ del valore massimo nominale. Quindi le nuove tecnologie andranno bene nei primi tempi ma prima o poi saranno soggette a saturazione... certo però il risultato sarà in assoluto migliore di quello che si ottiene adesso...

possiedo il DWR-2101 e finora non ho avuto problemi a parte il fatto che non si aggiornava il firmware ma ho risolto con l'assistenza tecnica.
La mia piu'che altro è una curiosità:
pur essendo coperto dal 5G (torino-vodafone)
(e anche gli speed test hanno dei valori da 5G)
e anche se nel display del dispositivo appare il sibolo 5G,
nella console web invece nell'RSRP del 5G il dBm appare sempre a 0 mentre quello del LTE si incrementa di continuo,
ed entrambi (sia l'EN-DC del 5G che l'LTE-CA dell'LTE) risultano come disattivati.
E' una cosa normale e non mi devo preoccupare?
Oppure devo modificare qualcosa nelle impostazioni?

a Torino Vodafone commercializza SIM per traffico dati in 5G ?
a me era stato detto che non c'erano ancora offerte in tal senso
