Sarebbe il caso di evitare di aggiornare il firmware della chiavetta con versioni per paesi esteri anche se Vodafone.
L'interfaccia grafica utente (GUI) di configurazione della Huawei K5150 sembra essere di tipo HiLink come per altri modelli del marchio, tanto per la cronaca.
Come documentato su questo forum portoghese la K5150 collegata ad un router Router 3G/4G portatile TL-MR3040 ne inibisce l'accesso all'interfaccia. Ragione in più per sospettare una scorretta configurazione di IP fra la chiavetta modem e il router.
Una possibile soluzione viene proposta qui dove si parla nello specifico di modem 3G/4G host-less (letteralmente "privi di ospite" cioé che necessitano di essere connessi a un dispositivo host in rete, in pratica ad un PC) che una volta collegati al computer risultano come un dispositivo Ethernet di tipo web GUI - cioé ad accesso tramite programma di navigazione in rete (browser web) - e di tipo web UI - cioé ad accesso tramite programma di gestione connessione (connection manager).
Quindi il modello Huawei K5150 è un modem USB 3G/4G di tipo hostless dotato di interfaccia HiLink.

IP Address
When using this type of modem you must be aware of the IP address that you use to access the modem using the web browser. On ZTE host-less modems this address is 198.168.0.1, while Huawei host-less (Hilink) modems use 192.168.1.1.
This can cause a problem if the router uses the same IP address or subset as the modem does. By default a ROOter uses 192.168.1.1 to access the router's web interface and a conflict will happen if you are using a Hilink host-less modem.
The way to avoid this is to change the IP address of the router. In the router web interface go to Network -> Interfaces and click on the Edit button for the LAN. Change the IPv4 address to 192.168.100.1 and then click on Save & Apply. You will have to manually change the IP address to 192.168.100.1 in the web browser in order to get back to the router's web interface.
By giving the router a different subnet than the modem the router will work correctly and data will flow properly from the client devices to the internet. ZTE host-less modems are already using a different subset so this change is needed only for Huawei Hilink modems.
You can then access the modem's web interface using the same IP address as you would when it was plugged into a computer.
Direi di provare ad assegnare al router DWR-116 l'indirizzo IP 192.168.1.1 nella sezione SETUP>NETWORK SETTINGS oltre ad aver impostato manualmente i DNS come consigliato precedentemente. O addirittura 192.168.9.2 disabilitando il DHCP e lasciandoglielo gestire dal server DHCP sulla K5150.
